Top Driven Piles

Top driven piles are the choice for larger sites such as housing developments or industrial units. Once again, MK Piling capability comes into play with a selection of top driven piling machines for all situations.

We operate our own compact hydraulic top drive pile drivers to drive large numbers of thick wall steel and reinforced concrete piles. We have our own transport for these piling rigs and our piling teams can deliver and operate them anywhere in the UK.

Piling equipment is continually developing and we make on-going investments to ensure we always offer the most versatile selection of advanced piling machinery available.

In addition to our three 25 ton top drive piling rigs, we operate a new, smaller 10 ton rig. This top driven piling system has a minimum operating height of 6 metres and is powered by an interchangeable diesel and electric motor. This makes it an ideal piling solution for inside existing buildings where fumes need to be avoided.
